The André Revuz Laboratory of Didactics (LDAR) is a multi-university research unit affiliated with five universities, specialising in the didactics of scientific disciplines, including the teaching of mathematics and the sciences (life sciences, physical sciences, chemistry and geography).

2026 Symposium

The LDAR’s symposium, scheduled for autumn 2026, forms part of an initiative to promote scientific engagement and structure research. The symposium will focus on three scientific themes:

  • the first, ‘Producing and Disseminating Science’, examines the ways in which scientific knowledge is communicated and disseminated both within and outside schools, as well as their impact on learning and education;
  • the second theme focuses on inclusive education, considered from the perspective of the content and methodologies specific to the scientific disciplines, in order to better understand the conditions for making scientific knowledge and activities accessible to all learners;
  • finally, a cross-cutting theme, scaling up, examines the relationship between qualitative and quantitative approaches in order to strengthen the impact of research in educational science on society and educational policy.

Designed as a forum for open dialogue, these conference days will bring together researchers in educational pedagogy, educational sciences and the scientific disciplines for plenary lectures, workshops, presentations of work in progress, and small-group working sessions, with a view to fostering new collaborations and research projects.
